What do you do at Pinnacle? I serve as the Operations Support Partner. I work closely with John and David, helping make sure our locations have the tools they need to serve families to the best of their ability. I also support the rest of the leadership team throughout the acquisition process.

What are you known for professionally? I am known for my attention to detail, creative problem-solving and love of spreadsheets.

Who have you worked with in the past? I worked for Schramka Funeral Home for seven years before being promoted to my current position with Pinnacle.  I first served as Office Manager. As Pinnacle expanded their presence in Wisconsin, I became Regional Administrative Manager. Before joining the funeral industry, I spent my career in association management.

What most excites you about your work & the contribution you can make? I love helping people, so being on the operations support team really is the perfect place for me. Its so important to me that our funeral homes be able to operate smoothly and serve their families and community in their own unique way. Through all my roles in the funeral industry, I have viewed it as my mission to make things easier for those around me.

What are you passionate about personally? What do you really enjoy? One of my biggest hobbies is sewing and crafting, and I most often channel that into costumes. Halloween is my favorite holiday. I am also an avid reader. My genre of choice is sci-fi/fantasy.

Where can we find you when you’re not working? I am often found spending time with my close-knit chosen family whether its cooking dinner together, shuttling kids to activities, or enjoying an outdoor concert in one of Milwaukee’s beautiful parks. I also love to curl up on the couch with a book and my basenji/corgi mix, Loki.

How long have you been doing what you do? I have been in the funeral industry for seven years. I have been supporting leaders throughout my career.

Where did you grow up? I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and am proud to still call it home. I love being in a city full of neighborhoods with Lake Michigan so close. Luckily for me, my husband grew to love it too and relocated from Chicago a decade ago.

What would be impossible for you to give up? As a native Wisconsinite, I would have to say cheese. In college I would use “What’s your favorite cheese?” as a conversation starter. (My favorite is smoked gouda.)
