What do you do at Pinnacle? I am an Operations Support Partner for Pinnacle and Rollings Funeral Service. I work closely with Rollings regional managers, James Mullikin and Mark Forney, and Pinnacle’s V.P. of Business Optimization & Integration, David Trivette. I will be partnering with these regional managers and locations in multiple markets to lend support in all things administration and case management, planning and implementing special projects, training, and integration of new acquisitions.

What are you known for professionally? I am known for my wide range of experiences in funeral home management. This has given me the opportunity to better understand the needs of funeral directors, so they can better serve their families.

Who have you worked with in the past? I was fortunate to begin my career with D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes in Fort Wayne, Indiana and then transition to SCI. With the acquisition of D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes in 2016, I became part of SCI’s Operations Team as the Care Center Manager and oversaw a 2,000 call volume Care Center in the Fort Wayne SCI market. I served as Director of Business Operations for Inman Shipping Worldwide from 2018 to 2021, overseeing the logistics of the call center, Service Provider network and International Team. Prior to joining the Pinnacle team, I was the Office Manager for FairHaven Funeral Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

What most excites you about your work & the contribution you can make? I am passionate about being able to continue to serve funeral homes in our industry. I’ve had the opportunity to serve funeral homes from behind the scenes, from business to business or by directly facing families. I enjoy knowing that funeral directors can make wise business decisions and serve their families to the best of their abilities.

What are you passionate about personally? What do you really enjoy? I am passionate about spending time out west in Montana and being with my family. My two sons are college students at Purdue University and Indiana State University, and I enjoy spending time with them when they are home from college. My husband and I own property in Montana, and it is our happy place. We look forward to spending a good portion of our time there once we build a second home in the future.

Where can we find you when you’re not working? I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking in our national parks, when possible, and enjoying a good walk at home. Otherwise, you can find me on the couch with a good book, as I love to read WWII historical fiction, and hang out with my guys watching sports!

How long have you been doing what you do? I have been in the deathcare industry for over eleven years as an Operations Manager and Director of Business Operations.

Where did you grow up? I grew up in Flint, Michigan. After graduating from college and getting married, my husband and I moved back to his hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana, where we have lived for 24 years.

What would be impossible for you to give up? Sweets! I have a sweet tooth and unfortunately, it is impossible to give up candy!
